What is Chaves County
Health Council.
CCHC is a volunteer group who represent all residents in Chaves County. We meet at least once a month to communicate, network, collaborate, and implement approaches to improving and promoting for the physical, mental, and social well-being of all people in Chaves County.

Activities
The 211 network in the United States responds to more than 21 million requests for help every year. Most calls, web chats, and text messages are from people looking for help meeting basic needs like housing, food, transportation, and health care.
The Chaves County Health Expo is an initiative of the Chaves County Health Council and is the only source for health benefits and wellness education for Chaves County. Prior to the first Expo in 2019, there was no other event that brought so many health and wellness organizations together for the community in one event.
MAZE of Life
The MAZE of Life event is an event that is organized by the Chaves County Health Council, and with the help of the booth vendors, sponsors and volunteers this event is provided for students. The MAZE of Life is a project of the CCHC as a way to connect with adolescent students and provide them with the opportunity to witness about life choices/decisions and consequences of their decisions.
