My Story
JoAnn Lopez is Texas born and raised; she attended school in Muleshoe, Texas and college at ENMU-Roswell. She was employed at Roswell Job Corps Center for 20 years holding various positions. She has been a member of the Health Council since 2019. In November 2021, JoAnn volunteer to work full-time as Chaves County Health Council/ Chaves County 211 Coordinator. JoAnn is the mother of 4 outstanding children and grandmother to 10 grandchildren. JoAnn fully believes that everyone has the right to live in a community where they feel safe, included, valued and accepted and is committed to making our community a safe place to live.
