Health Expo

About the Health Expo

The Chaves County Health Expo is an initiative of the Chaves County Health Council and is the only source for health benefits and wellness education for Chaves County. Prior to the first Expo in 2019, there was no other event that brought so many health and wellness organizations together for the community in one event.

The Expo hosts over 100 booth vendors and has attendance of over 1,000 community members. This all-ages annual community event is designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, prevent and manage disease and illness while connecting Chaves County residents to valuable resources. Attendees from across the county rely on the Chaves County Health Expo for valuable and timely education.

Vendors at the Chaves County Health Expo represent products and services including:

• Health Benefits & Insurance Companies

• Providers of ancillary benefits such as dental, vision, life insurance, employee assistance

• programs, pet insurance, etc.

• Wellness and Preventative care

• Health Systems and on-site clinics

• Alternative and Holistic Medicines

• Exercise Programs

• Home Health Care Companies

• Health Screenings, to include mammograms done on site
