Strengthening Veteran suicide prevention through education, QPR training, lethal means safety, crisis-resource awareness, connectedness, and help-seeking.

QPR Suicide Prevention Training

Providing community-based Question, Persuade, Refer training that helps participants recognize suicide warning signs, ask directly about suicide, and connect someone with appropriate support.

Free Bus Pass Program

Providing free city bus passes to Veterans to help reduce transportation barriers to healthcare, appointments, services, basic needs, and community participation. Bus fares are funded through a community partner.

Community Stand Down

A community event connecting individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with service organizations, resources, outreach, and practical support.

Veterans Symposium

A community gathering focused on Veteran issues, education, suicide prevention, resource connection, and strengthening the local network of support for Veterans and their families.

Together With Veterans works best when Veterans, families, service organizations, healthcare providers, employers, and community partners are connected and working toward the same goals.

You can get involved by attending meetings and events, sharing Veteran needs and resources, participating in suicide-prevention and outreach efforts, or helping strengthen local connections for Veterans and their families.
